Colt starting involves getting them to respect you on the ground. It also involves working cows by themselves and teaching them the basic vocabulary of riding. ( Which is giving their head, going left, right, forward and backwards variable speed.)Techniques on getting your horse more even eyed which gives you a more balanced horse whether it's going to be a cutter, roper, barrel, or just a pleasure horse. (Please view my videos or contact me with more information regarding dominant eye and how to balance your horses out.) Whether you want your horses to compete in an event or just simply would like to go trail riding, I can teach you and your horses basic principles of problem solving that will help you have an enjoyable and safe ride.
Training fees:
Training fees are $500 per four weeks of training. ( horses are worked 5-6 days a week )
Boarding fees are $250 per four weeks.
Total of $750.00 per four weeks. ( includes 2 visits per the four weeks your horse is in training or you may contact me to view your horse online to save yourself the trouble of traveling.)
Facilities include a 150' x 300' roping arena, covered arena, covered stalls and pasture
