Chace Ashley Horse Training
I start all of my rope horses by first picking apart the whole run which includes scoring, rating, handling and facing for your head horse. For your heel horse you want them to be able to haze, rate, give you a good shot and stop at the correct time to just name a few. So what I do is simulate many different drills to improve your horse as a whole. I have drills to make them rate on their own with or without a rider and build their confidence of ropes. I work mechanical cows to improve their abilities on making the corner, rating and then log them to simulate a handle, etc.
We have a 150ft. x 300ft roping arena, covered arena, covered stalls and pasture.
Fees:
$500 per four weeks of training ( horses get worked 5-6 days a week)
boarding fees are $250 per four weeks.
